This fall, CISPES will be organizing three regional tours to form our national fall tour program. The tours will host different speakers, but will be tied together by addressing similar issues, including the upcoming Salvadoran elections, confronting US intervention in those elections, the experiences of immigrant Salvadorans in the US, and CISPES’ solidarity work with Salvadorans living both in the US and in El Salvador.
The tours will be a chance for community members to learn about and contribute to the specific social movement organizations that CISPES is supporting this year through our annual material aid fundraising. Events will also provide information about how community members can get more involved in local CISPES work or participate in the upcoming elections-observing delegations.
